Christening Celebration Photography in Farnham, Surrey

At the end of 2021, I was asked to be a Christening photographer in Surrey, near Farnham. One of the lovely things about Christening photography is the atmosphere of warmth and encouragement, as family and friends come together in celebration of a new member of the Christian church.

I was working for a particularly musical family, so choral music played a key part in the celebrations – with professional musicians playing and singing as part of the ceremony.

I wanted to capture the natural expressions and authentic moments of the day, to try to capture the true essence of this very special event.
