This summer, I was privileged to provide documentary wedding photography at Artington House registry office in Guildford, Surrey.
As documentary wedding photographer, my main aim is to work quietly and candidly to capture the natural expressions and authentic details that tell the true story of your day.
Documentary style wedding photography also allows you to fully enjoy your day with the people who matter most, without being distracted and directed by a photographer. I find these are some of the main reasons why couples choose documentary, or reportage style wedding photography as opposed to more traditional approaches.
After the ceremony at Artington House, we all headed over to Guildford’s Ivy Castle View for the reception, where I continued to capture the love and happiness of this very special afternoon.
