Wedding anniversary party photography and catering photography were both on the menu this month.

I headed up to the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside for some fine dining photography, on behalf of PopTop UK. They hired me directly to take photographs for professional fine-dining chef Fed By Ed, as he crafted a 3-course meal for a private dinner party.

As a catering photographer, I needed to capture the energy and efficiency in the kitchen – yet allowing the busy chef to work uninterrupted at all times. And with wedding anniversary celebration photography, I wanted to capture the atmosphere and warmth of the celebration, whilst remaining aware of my need to step back and allow the guests to enjoy their meal in peace.

A challenging assignment, but a pleasure. Not only did Ed prepare a lavish meal for his delighted guests, but enjoyed conversing with everyone – and left the kitchen absolutely spotless at the end of the day!
