It was a real pleasure to work as live music photographer for the extremely talented London-based musician and singer, Claire Rossi.

As the UK geared up to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, PopTop UK commissioned me to photograph Claire as she sang for guests at a private Jubilee party in Kent.

It also saw me combining live music photography with documentary style party photography. I wanted to capture the genuine interaction between Claire and the guests, without directing or posing photographs. This is what allows me to capture the authentic energy, atmosphere and vibe of the party.

What a great atmosphere there was here! Not only was the music was fantastic but there was a great rapport between Claire and the guests, who were definitely in the mood for a bit of a knees-up!
