I’ve been working directly for PopTop UK recently. PopTop is one of the UK’s leading online booking platforms for event photographers, and other event service providers. But in the past few months, PopTop themselves have hired me directly to help them with their own photography.

This time saw me working as an 80th birthday party photographer in Hertfordshire, providing garden party photography at a beautiful location in the countryside near Borehamwood.

The key for any garden party photographer is to work effectively with the available light. And this particular evening we were blessed with beautiful golden sunlight as the early summer sun went down. There was a beautiful thatched cottage, a smouldering fire pit, a hog roast provided by the Rib Rack BBQ Company, and a great atmosphere to capture. Meanwhile the birthday girl in question is officially one of the most fashionable octogenarians around!
